Elev8 Seeds is a Canadian seed bank which was created with a clear mission: “…to provide the best genetics in seed form to those that know the value of world-class genetics.”

Having been amateur growers themselves at one time the breeders are fully aware of the immense effort that goes into producing a really good crop and for that reason they do their utmost to provide the superior genetics necessary to realise the goal of every grower – great weed.

Elev8 Seeds only carries marijuana strains that they clearly definite “keepers”. This in turn gives them their three-fold breeding strategy:

1. To preserve and release cannabis seeds from classic strains in seed form. These strain may be vulnerable to genetic deterioration or otherwise being lost to history forever. Elev8 Seeds sources the very best classic strains and back-crosses them 5 generations in order to retain, and even improve, the original genetic quality.
2. To preserve and release clone-only seeds, many, originally discovered by amateur growers such as Bruce Banner, Sour Diesel and UK Cheese. having knowledge of the original genetics enables these beauties to be re-created for the growing community.
3. To create new marijuana strains from currently available elite genetics. Firstly, before any breeding is considered, they set their ‘breeding goals’. what is the purpose? High THC, Sativa/Indica Hybrid? Any progeny that does not satisfy Elev8’s high expectations are firmly rejected never to be released.
