Skunk #1 Feminised is a three-way hybrid strain that dates back as far as the 1970s. It was bred from crossing Afghani, Mexican and Colombian genetics. Skunk #1 is one of the original old school varieties that made its way to Europe in the early 1980’s. It’s a very tough and highly resilient hybrid, easy to grow, highly productive and which takes only 56-60 days to flower. Make sure your carbon filters are working extra hard when growing this lady indoors as its reputation is justified.
It’s recommended to train this girl during the vegetative period as she can grow very big. Skunk #1 is a low maintenance strain making her ideal for beginner growers, as well as commercial growers looking for big yields.
Plants reach a height of 120 – 150 cm. with a stocky appearance. THC levels are 15% – 20%, making her effects well balanced and perfectly suited for smokers with a lower tolerance. Yields of 400 – 500 g/m² can be expected when grown in a Sea of Green. Plants have a strong smell, pungent, dank and reminiscent of a Skunk’s spray, so be careful when flowering indoors as well as when drying out. This hybrid produces very large sized buds having a chunky appearance with maroon brown hairs and with a prolific resin profile meaning this cultivar is a good choice for extract makers. Skunk #1 is a fast-flowering strain that only needs 8 – 9 weeks of flowering before harvesting.
